I\u2019m Daniel, and my journey<\/strong> in the footwear industry already goes over two decades<\/strong>. From my beginnings<\/strong> in Bavaria, Germany, to leading<\/strong> manufacturing initiatives for global brands<\/strong>, I\u2019ve dedicated<\/strong> my career completely to shoes.<\/p>

My passion<\/strong> for shoes started in 2003 with a 3.5-year dual apprenticeship as an Orthopedic Shoemaker in Kempten\/Allg\u00e4u. This experience<\/strong> taught me the complex craft<\/strong> of handcrafting<\/strong> orthopedic shoes, creating custom insoles<\/strong>, and making precise modifications for individuals<\/strong> with special needs.<\/p>

In 2009, I expanded<\/strong> my expertise at the Deutsche Schuhfachschule f\u00fcr Design & Technik in Pirmasens, where I learned shoe design, pattern engineering, quality management, industrial manufacturing, and much more. This solid foundation<\/strong> paved the way for my professional journey<\/strong> from handcrafting shoes<\/strong> into industrial shoemaking<\/strong>.<\/p>

My career took off in 2011 at HAIX, where I worked in Development on footwear for firefighting, safety<\/strong>, outdoor, and police\/military<\/strong> applications. Over five years, I gained invaluable experience<\/strong> in design, development, vendor selection, materials sourcing<\/strong>, costing, engineering, testing, production, and so much more across Europe and Asia<\/strong>.<\/p>

In 2016, I moved to Taiwan<\/strong> to join NIKE<\/strong> as a Product Engineer for Athletic Footwear<\/strong>. Collaborating with a global team<\/strong> and factory partners<\/strong>, I played a key role<\/strong> in developing football, athletic training, and basketball<\/strong> shoes. My focus was on driving product development<\/strong>, ensuring cost efficiency, and turning innovative designs<\/strong> into high-quality prototypes<\/strong> as well as making them ready for commercialization.<\/p>

My journey<\/strong> with Nike continued<\/strong> in Vietnam in 2019 as a Manufacturing Engineer<\/strong>, where I focused on commercialization<\/strong> of new developments into production<\/strong>, quality control, production transfers, automation, etc. By 2021, I was promoted<\/strong> to Manufacturing Manager<\/strong>, leading a team of senior engineers and driving strategic initiatives<\/strong> like Manufacturing System related work.<\/p>

In 2023, I decided to leverage<\/strong> my extensive experience<\/strong> to start Footwear Solution<\/strong>. As a consultant, I\u2019m dedicated<\/strong> to helping brands, factories, and suppliers navigate<\/strong> the complexities of the footwear industry.
